Canadian Solar HiKu7

The HiKu7 is a high-power monofacial module engineered to set new benchmarks in energy yield and system-cost efficiency for large-scale utility and commercial solar installations. Built on a massive 210mm silicon wafer platform, this module utilizes a 132-cell (half-cut) architecture and advanced Mono PERC technology to achieve a formidable power output of up to 675W and a module efficiency reaching 21.7%. To ensure long-term reliability, the module incorporates proprietary regeneration technology to mitigate Light-Induced Degradation (LID) and Light-and-elevated Temperature-Induced Degradation (LeTID), resulting in an annual power decline of only 0.55% over its 25-year performance warranty. Its design is further optimized with a low temperature coefficient of -0.34%/°C and exceptional shading tolerance, which minimizes hot-spot risks and maximizes energy harvest in real-world conditions. By delivering more watts per module, the HiKu7 significantly reduces the number of strings, trackers, and piles required, potentially lowering Balance of System (BOS) costs by up to 5.7% and the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) by up to 8.9% compared to previous-generation panels.
