Because it is the “Without Communication” version, it does not have a data port (RS485/CAN) to talk to your inverter, meaning you set it up using “User-Defined” voltage settings on your inverter.

The DJDC Dongjin 12V 100Ah (LIO 12-100) is a high-performance, deep-cycle Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery designed as a direct, “plug-and-play” replacement for traditional lead-acid or tubular batteries in 12V systems. Engineered as a “Without Communication” model, it functions as a standalone unit that does not require a complex data handshake (RS485/CAN) with the inverter, making it universally compatible with almost any standard 12V UPS, solar controller, or marine setup. Despite its simple connectivity, it features a sophisticated internal Smart BMS that monitors cell balancing and provides over 50 protection algorithms against overcharging, deep discharge, and thermal runaway. Offering a massive lifespan of 5,000 to 6,000 cycles at 80% Depth of Discharge, this battery provides a 10-year service life while weighing only 11kg—roughly one-third the weight of a comparable lead-acid unit. It supports a continuous discharge of 100A, allowing it to power heavy loads comfortably, and is uniquely versatile by supporting series connection of up to 4 units to create a 48V bank. Encased in an IP66-rated waterproof and dustproof housing, the Dongjin 12V 100Ah represents a durable, maintenance-free, and high-efficiency upgrade for users seeking reliable energy storage without the need for complex networking.
